East Blue Saga is the starting of Luffy's adventure saga. It introduces how Shanks can inspire Luffy to become a King Pirate. Moreover, It also focus on gaining new crews of Luffy. This is Zoro, Nami, Usopp and Sanji.

Alabasta Saga is sometimes called Baroque Works Saga, because Straw Hats and Baroque Works fought against each others. The reason why they must fight is Luffy and his crews helped Princess Nefertari Vivi to return her homeland, Alabasta and save it.

Fishman Island Saga takes place after Straw Hat Pirates finish to practice in 2 years. They reunited in Sabaody Archipelago and continued to go to Fishman Island. This saga is the first saga of the second half of One Piece Manga. After timeskip, Luffy and his crews became more powerful. For example, Luffy can defeat PX with only one punch in Sabaody Archipelago and defeat Hody easily in Fishman Island. So I will present 2 fights of Luffy in this saga. This is:

• Luffy vs Pacifista.
• Luffy vs Hody.

The Summit War Saga is the last saga of the half of One Piece Manga. This Saga is very difficult for Luffy and his crews, because there are many strong characters who are the enemies of Straw Hats such as Kizaru (a Admiral), Pacifista (a robot of Vegapunk), Bartholomew Kuma (a Shichibukai), Sentomaru (a bodyguard of Vegapunk), Magellan (a warden of Impel Down), ... All they are stronger than Luffy. Straw Hats failed consecutively. Especially, Luffy can't save my brother, Ace. He was very desperate and wanted to die.

Sky Island Saga

In the Sky Island Saga, Luffy visited 2 places: Jaya and Skypiea. In Jaya, Luffy fought Bellamy, who gold from Cricket. But Cricket is a friend of Luffy, so he decide to get gold back from Bellamy. After wining Bellamy, Luffy continue to go to Skypiea where everyone believes that it is a myth. Then, Luffy and crews met the God of Skypiea, Enel. And they have a great battle.

Luffy had some great fights in Water 7 Saga such as "Luffy vs Lucci". This is one of the best Luffy battles and he almost dead.

Fights in Water 7 Saga can arrange as follows:

1. Luffy vs Foxy.
2. Luffy vs Blueno.
3. Luffy vs Lucci.

Thriller Bark Saga

In Thriller Bark Arc, Luffy had some difficult battles, especially a battle with a Shichibukai, Gekko Moriah. He owned Kage Kage no Mi, a devil fruit. This fruit allows him to control shadows.

Because of Moriah's ability, there are many mystery in the Thriller Bark Arc. Straw hats met zombies, a skeleton who can speak, ... Then Luffy and his crews were taken shadows by Moriah. So they can't contact sun raise. And their mission is that they must defeat Moriah to gain their shadows. In this post, I'll present 2 fights of Luffy:
