Thriller Bark Saga

In Thriller Bark Arc, Luffy had some difficult battles, especially a battle with a Shichibukai, Gekko Moriah. He owned Kage Kage no Mi, a devil fruit. This fruit allows him to control shadows.

Because of Moriah's ability, there are many mystery in the Thriller Bark Arc. Straw hats met zombies, a skeleton who can speak, ... Then Luffy and his crews were taken shadows by Moriah. So they can't contact sun raise. And their mission is that they must defeat Moriah to gain their shadows. In this post, I'll present 2 fights of Luffy:

• Luff vs Oz
• Luff vs Moriah

Luffy vs Oz

Oz is the ancient monster. He is a zombie and is controlled by Moriah. Moreover, He posed Luffy's shadow so he has some special Luffy's skills.
So Oz is extremely strong. All of straw hats crews ought to gather to fight against Oz, but they failed. Finally, Luffy must to stuff 100 shadows inside him to enhance his power and agility. He became "Night mare Luffy" who is more powerful than Oz. However, this strength only last around 2 to 3 minutes. So he doesn't have enough time to defeat Oz. In that time, Luffy is very exhausted but he still fights. Finally, he with his crews of helping used Gear Third to finish Oz.

Luffy vs Gekko Moriah

After defeat Oz, Luffy must fight against Moriah instantly. Moriah absorbed all of his zombie's shadow, 1000 shadows. So he changed into a giant and became extremely powerful.
Luffy continued to use Gear second to fight, but it is useless. Finally, he must combine Gear second and Gear third to attack Moriah. It is very dangerous for Luffy to use that. However, he won and was treated by Bartholomew Kuma, another Shichibukai.

After war, He escaped and reappear in Marineford Arc when Luffy fight against margin to rescue Portgas D. Ace. However, he was attacked by Doflamingo. Now, we don't know he is dead or still alive?
